CAD Design
Use us as your mechanical design resource. We work from your design brief in a confidential and collaborative manner, within an agreed timeframe.
We embrace tasks of all sizes, be they a one off item, a more complex assembly or the development of an idea through to a working prototype and beyond. We will incorporate your required proprietary parts, suggest our own and compile a Bill of Materials in parallel with the design process.

We use Siemens NX CAD. CAD, or Computer Aided Design, allows us to create on a computer a digital replica of the components being designed, or reverse engineered, in the form of a 3D solid model. The model links directly to a fully dimensioned and toleranced 2D technical drawing.
Model and drawing together enable manufacture using all forms of modern, digitally controlled machines such as CNC mills and lathes, Laser Cutting and 3D Printing.
The model can also feed into more advanced digital tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
